We are a National Lottery Heritage Fund Landscape Partnership programme, formed from an association of partner organisations and local community groups within the Forest of Dean. Our aim is to raise awareness and participation in the built, natural and cultural heritage that makes our Forest special.

There are lots of things to see, do, explore and get involved in, so we hope you’ll come and join us in a range of activities, volunteering opportunities and events. For further information please vist our dedicated website www.forestersforest.uk.

In a nutshell though, the Foresters’ Forest Programme is based around five themes: Our Stronghold for Nature, Exploring our Forest, Revealing our Past, Celebrating our Forest, Securing our Future.

Each of these themes has a range of projects that uncover, share and celebrate our heritage. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in learning about and protecting our special forest, so we hope you’ll come and join us!
