Forest Voluntary Action Forum provides help, advice, training and guidance on developing and running your group. This includes :-

• Reviewing the constitution or governing document
• Helping develop policies and procedures
• Reviewing and advising on the administration of the group
• Proposing financial monitoring and reporting systems
• Developing financial procedures
• Helping with charity or other registration
• Helping with strategic development of a group
• Setting up discussion forums for groups
• Producing a regular newsletter
• Signposting groups / solving problems
• Planning a project
• Providing guidance on employment and volunteer issues
• Running trustee / committee development sessions
• Offering accredited training (eg in 1^st Aid or Food Safety)
